a sound accrued by loitering long at skipjack tables & tape duplicating plants\u2026the joyous melancholy seeping from this LP’s patched folk o’ertones has been a reassuring cloak for me since its porous ones & twos dripped into the MM inbox\u2026an album you can wear whose universal backstory is told deftly via these gilt-edged electronic daubs without sugar-coating – there’s none of this ‘soundtrack to a film yet to be made’ clotting up the ear canals\u2026a basking shark of an album that gently filters the ill from the krill\u2026Some Truths are bigger than others\u2026BM<\/p>\n
